Through LEMA, God offers you full term and short-term mission opportunities in Africa. Every year, a mission team goes to our sites in Nigeria and Uganda for one week or two of intense ministry, teaching and imparting diversity of practical knowledge and skills. Full Term Missionaries serve in approved safe sites for one year and more. 2026 Mission Trip
Uganda
August 24- September 6, 2026
Lead children at Young Leaders Camp. Young leaders camp is a VBS style camp where children from Amuria will come and be led in activities and worship. You will either lead a group on your own or co-lead a group with another missionary.
CLEAR Conference: The C.L.E.A.R (Christian Leadership Education for Africa Revival) Conference is a ministry of the LEMA Institute, USA aimed at providing short-term opportunity for an intense and extensive training and exchange of ideas, skills and knowledge for pastors and theologians, professors, and scholars. Missionaries will have the opportunity to teach and train participants.
Connect with the Community: You will have many opportunities to connect with the community in Uganda! You will have the amazing opportunity to visit with many families, spend time with lots of children and work closely with the LEMA Students. Let's embrace the culture; food, family and fellowship!
Hike Soroti Rock: Soroti Rock is located in central Soroti Town and the locals are so proud of it! It gives such an amazing view of Lake Kyoga and Mt. Elgon. Let's put on our hiking sandals and make a day trip of hiking the rock.
Stretch Your Faith: Uganda is a great place to be stretched in your faith. During your stay you will have the opportunity to provide leadership within a church service, bible study, youth group and the list goes on. This trip will help you take more ownership of your faith as you grasp the greatness of our God!
Lions, Tigers, Zebras! Oh My! We will take time to go on a one day safari and see the beautiful country of Uganda and the unique animals it holds.
